lyrics
An ocean of grit and fire
Dunes cast like waves from a squall
Winds shifting without desire
Desolate and dry
Eyes burning and they seek for spirits
Hooves beating the heart’s own drum
Faith in a land that doesn’t welcome
You or your kind
And still you stay, amid the light
Far from the edge
And still you stay, amid the light
Life in the ruins and the strife
Keep moving for far the hawk does fly
Your wings are made from cloth and dye
The beasts that carry your confidence
Keep your secrets and your sky
Blood trickles on the open sand
Through the door of sacrifice
On the back of the true survivor, you abide
There is no road that can guide a man
Only the force of the guiding hand
Through the caverns of the deep and sacred you must climb
The water, precious as gold
The land giveth, and taketh away
And so it goes, for years untold, a caravan unfolds
And so it grows, until its old, when the heat turns cold
And still you stay amid the light far from the edge of the knife
And still you stay amid the light far from the edge of the knife
And still you stay...

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu

When Andrew Clinco (aka Deb Demure) was sitting in his Los Angeles bedroom, listening to the Cocteau Twins and mastering his first album, going back and forth inside the soundbooth bathroom conversion, he didn't expect the response he would receive in return. Later bring Alex Nicolaou (aka Mona D) aboard as the keyboardist, the duo have reinvigorated "The Underground Subculture" music genre with a new chapter in a reminiscence of past bands, but heralding a newly defined gantlet...!!! Never listened to their music until I saw their show at Grauzone in The Hague by accident. This music deeply touched my heart ! "Alive again, I don´t need to die tonight" ! CountBreznak
